Lawsuit Lottery

Everyone who pontificates (one way or the other) about litigation reform needs to see this advertisement.  It truly puts the $$lot in lottery. (via Overlawyered.com).

From the advertisement it is not clear that one needs to be injured to collect (but a evidence of a small heart attack would help).  The best part is that the ad encourages people to obtain Vioxx from an on-line source that still has the drug and take it so they can sue both Merck and the pharmacy.

This ad reminds me of those ads one hears on late night radio encouraging listeners to invest in gold and silver futures.  For $100 you can get the secrets of the universe--in this case --the things the Vioxx class action law firms don't want you to know.  One can probably get the same advice from a fortune cookie.  Actually, a fortune cookie is better as it gives a lottery number too.
