I can't believe it, but it has been one year since I started this web log. I don't know it is a real milestone anymore as many blogs have passed four birthdays. However, I want to thank the Academy®, the readers, the “commenters”, and the "linkers" over the last year. I'd especially like to thank David Giacalone for allowing me to use the f/k/a tag for a short period of time and for his comments and links; Ted Frank, Walter Olson, and Jim Copeland for all their links at Overlawyered and Point of Law; and to Evan Schaeffer for allowing me to guest blog at Notes. Oh, I almost forgot to E L Eversman at Automuse for suggesting the NY Times pay me to write for it. My grandmother would have been so proud.
Congratulations, Martin, and thanks for educatin' and entertainin' the numerically and statistically challenged.
Do webloggers have "paper anniversaries", or should I send a pixel bouquet?

Congrats! When you received your award, did you get to come to the main stage, or did you have to stand in the back and speak into a microphone placed among the audience? Hopefully the former. Anything but, and I object for the record.
