I spent an enjoyable morning at the AEI yesterday with Ted Frank and the panelists discussing liability issues surrounding Hurricane Katrina. I’ll have some thoughts later today about the panel. However, I was amazed at the number of people who saw the discussion on CSPAN2. They claim they were just channel surfing, but I now suspect that people actually watch CSPAN. I only watch it for the book reviews…..
On the previous Friday I had the opportunity to have dinner in Princeton with my famous co-bloggers from Point of Law: Jim Copeland, Michael DeBow, Ted Frank, Walter Olson and Jonathan Wilson. We had a great dinner and got to talk torts! Thanks Jim.
Update: I forgot to mention my neighbor from up the street Jonathan Wilson who drove me from the airport to Princeton. However, it was I that managed to get us both lost at least two or three times. Thanks for the ride Jonathan and next time I’ll bring the GPS receiver!
Martin, I am envious. Sounds edifying, filling, and fun. I'm hoping to be in DC around Nov. 8th, so see if you can arrange another boondaggle.
